What an eventful year this has been! For one thing, my husband died just before Christmas 2022 and although I thought I had got over it, it was traumatic as he died suddenly, so I have been out of action for some time. I have, however, been painting pictures as I normally would have, not so many but I will try to share what I have been doing. For one thing, I visited Barbados during the month of March and have painted two pictures from that. I have also been doing some teaching at a class twice a month so I guess we have been doing some paintings from that. I will try to share what I have been doing - thi one is from Barbados where early in the morning these guys take the horses down to the sea and it is a joy to behold. They need to be washed and get them ready for the day. The other painting is of the special Barbados plant they have growing there, which is very colourful and full of life. I don't know the name of the plant. Does anyone know?
Together with three others this August we have an exhibition at the Old Court, Windsor, in Berkshire. Why not come along and see! There will be Richard Golding who does some excellent landscape paintings in a unique style of his own, also Malcolm Brewer who painstakingly spends hours drawing with rotring pen in an art nouveau style plus myself who also have a range of genres and one other who is going to join us.
