Framed Oil Painting on Canvas 23.5" x 19". This is one of my oldest paintings - I think I painted this in the late 70's. Painted with expression in mind and the romance of Cornwall at the time, there is quite a narrative in the story of these fishermen in their life at sea, which was probably not an easy life. The middle fishermen has so much expression in his face. Maybe he was even singing at the time. Used a range of brushes for this.
