It was around October when it was rather windy, though the place was so beautiful. It was the view from our hotel window. The palm trees were waving around and there was a spectacular view. Painted with fan and other brushes, pallet knives and sponges.

Jazz Players
Framed Pastel Painting on Tinted Ingres Paper 25" x 13" with the frame. This was drawn from a few photographs I had of some jazz musicians playing in a club scene. A clarinet player, trumpet player and trombone player in a dark place with the lights shining on them. This was painted in a range of colours and pastel sets.

River at Canterbury

There in the middle of it there was lovely heron on the branch of the tree. I painted this using a variety of pallet knives and brushes.

This painting is a claustrophobic view of being on the underground. People are huddled together and there is some irritation here as I have tried to capture the expression on people's faces. There is some leering going on as the man is looking at the girl who is listening to music through her headphones.
